... a torture

I am currently completely rewriting the grooveshark(tm).com API in vb.net to make it much better than the API I currently have.
I started at friday, 4 hours of hard work and the "bones" were ready (Connect/Search). I tried it and it didn't worked... :(

I continued the next 8 or more hours finding the mistake... Then I gave up... (I was sure that the old API and the new API was doing exactly the same).

Today I played around with it, and found out that I just had a typo in some thing I send.... I wrote "paramenter" instead of "parameters" and never noticed it. But now I found it :). Hope to get the Downloader available soon :).

Poor SciLor!
I know this kind of typo tortures from good old 8-bit assembler times - and now with php :)
Good luck, m8!

That's really bad man! And a coder's life is a torture. I agree. Same thing happens to me periodically! :D

You are not the only one! For sure!

I had some very big headache compiling a piece of code in Windows (I programmed it in Ubuntu first, tried it there, and everything went as expected) but it didn't compile... tons of weird errors with not many google results...

After hours of trying stuff... I found out I used the wrong order for the libraries I use in the C++ linker in the command line. Fucking stupid. I know.

Keep up the good work :)

P.S.: Your blog is a forum! Weird!
